Instructions:

For 1.6.1 or higher

Delete directory '/ meta_inf' in your minecraft.jar
Copy the folder '/ shadow "to your mailbox. Minecraft'
Copy all your classes to minecraft.jar
For 1.5.2 and below

Delete directory '/ meta_inf' in your minecraft.jar
Copy the folder '/ shader' folder to your '/ bin'
Copy all your classes to minecraft.jar
A configuration file is found in the shadow directory. It can be used to change parameters such as:

Photos: watercolor, colored waterfall
Performance: there is a setting to disable the reflective part of the resolution and reduce reflection
To disable water effects using 'water_mode 0'
Graphics chips are not compatible:

ATI X1200 or lower
Graphics without support GL_EXT_framebuffer_object
Graphics without GL_ARB_shader_objects, support and GL_ARB_fragment_shader GL_ARB_vertex_shader
Mobile Intel ® 4 Series Express Chipset Family (or lower, in some cases resulting in the invisible world will be sorry)
