To use the HD texture pack properly (32 × and higher), you will need to either patch your Minecraft MCPatcher use or use OptiFine. Optifine is preferred because it includes all the features of MCPatcher, and significantly increases the speed of the game and the graphics settings. MCPatcher tend to be updated on the same day as Minecraft update, so instead of using it if you are in a hurry.
